A purple ribbon

Life is beautifully dark;
a tragic monopoly of swirling emotions and glistening shadows.
A murderous lullaby of sweet sorrow,
stalking the moon and the stars.

A lone wolf, howling for sunset
but praying for morning,
wishing for night to soothe it’s pain
and sunrise to ease it’s heartache.

A white raven in a cauldron of malice,
a unique blend of purity and death;
surrounded by a rich blackness.

The delicate scent of hatred, overwhelming the senses;
confusing, suffocating, relentless.
A purple ribbon of sadness,
engulfing the mirage of hopeless dreams.
